The Forecast: The snow will diminish to light intermitted showers today and then pick up again tonight.  Snow continues through the weekend.

The Science:   The Puget Sound Convergence zone produced early this morning.   The precipitation is drying up with only a few scattered showers left in the Stevens Pass convergence zone.  

The next push of moisture arrives tonight with another round of snow for Stevens Pass.  Unstable NW flow will continue through the weekend.  There will be a spike in temperatures tomorrow as a warm front pushes through.   

Long Range.  The snow will linger into Monday morning with them middle of next week drying out.

Snow will taper off this morning and then ramp back up after 7pm tonight.

Freezing levels will hold steady through the day.  Freezing levels will spike up to 3500’ tomorrow and then fall back tomorrow night.

Base:  5-10 W
Ridge Top: 15-30 W with higher gust possible 

Trend and Timing:
The winds will begin to diminish around noon or so and ramp back up tomorrow morning.
