Discussion: Scattered snow showers with sun breaks will persist in the mountains through tomorrow.
Long-term models show a short lived dry spell on Sunday with the next more organized system bringing more snow for the beginning of the week.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Snow showers will slowly taper off through the next 36 hours. Dry by 4am Sunday morning.
Freezing levels: A cooling trend will continue into the weekend. Could see a bump in surface temps on Sunday but the overall freezing levels will remain below pass level well into next week.
Winds: Light east flow will hold on until tomorrow morning. A light NW pattern will develop tomorrow.
