Discussion: A series of small systems will move through the mountains through the weekend. Cool temps for this time of year will keep all of the moisture in the form of snow here at the Pass.
Long-term models show cool wet systems separated dry periods will continuing through most of next week.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Intermittent snow showers will persist overnight. A weak upper level ridge will decrease the chance of snow for tomorrow. A more organized snow event is shaping up for tomorrow night and possible Friday.
Freezing levels: An over all cool temperature regime will keep the freezing levels below pass level through the weekend. Freezing levels could dip as low as 2000’ by Friday. As usual some sun breaks could push the surface temps above freezing.
Winds: These systems seem to be slow moving therefore, not expecting much wind. Could see a short gusty period with Friday morning’s cold front, so until then, winds should be light.
