SPOT WEATHER FORECAST

2/12/2010 Weather

Short term: The system shifted north yesterday which did two things; it downgraded water amounts but also kept us in snow. More snow will fall today as bands of moisture continue to move through the region.

Long-term: This pattern of bands of moisture separated by dry periods, with freezing levels near pass level, will continue into early next week. If we continue to be lucky with the freezing levels, we should see some consistent new snow through the middle of next week. Nothing major, but a few inches every few days.
