Short term: Waves of moisture will continue to pass through the mountains today. Upper level ridging will begin to dry things up tonight.

Long-term: Building high pressure will bring a mostly dry weekend and block any incoming disturbances for the next 2-4 days.

Precipitation: Moisture will change to showers this afternoon and be done sometime after 10pm. A few lingering showers will be possible tomorrow, but it will be dry for the most part.

Freezing levels: 4-5000’. Freezing levels aren’t expected to move much for the next 24-48 hours.

Winds: These gusty east winds will continue today. Winds will taper off and shift westerly after midnight. JDM
