Short term: High pressure will continue to bring dry warm days, and cool nights to the PNW mountains.

Long-term: The ridge is expected to block or split any incoming disturbances through most of the weekend. Change will be possible on Sunday as cooler NW flow develops.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: The atmosphere is not completely stable, so an isolated snow shower wouldn’t be out of the question.

Freezing levels: 3500’-4500’. A nice melt freeze cycle will occur for the next few days. Surface temps could dip into the teens at night.

Winds: There won’t be much movement out there as a very light gradient shift back to easterly through the night. Light ENE flow will continue tomorrow. JDM
