Short term: A nice interim day today before the next juicy system arrives tomorrow.

Long-term: An active weather pattern will start tomorrow as a cooler wetter pattern develops for the start of the week. There is a good chance to get moderate to heavy snow tomorrow night into Monday/Tuesday.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: A strong cold front will push the next round of moisture into the mountains after 4am tomorrow. Rain snow mix will start the day with moisture changing to all snow early Monday morning. Pretty impressive energy with this system so expect some winter weather challenges for the first part of the week.

Freezing levels: 6000’-4000’. Freezing levels will be high today but begin to drop early tomorrow morning. Freezing levels will hover right near 4000’ for most of the day. Cooling trend into Monday morning.

Winds: SE flow will continue until the early morning hours. SW flow will develop tomorrow and continue through the storm cycle. JDM
