General Discussion:  As expected, this big storm will play itself out today, with continued heavy precipitation, warm temps and breezy conditions.

Long-term: Tonight and tomorrow morning will be an interim period before the next system starts tomorrow afternoon. Moderate to heavy snow is expected on Tuesday.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Rain will begin to taper off this evening. Tonight and tomorrow morning will be relatively quiet. Mixed rain and snow showers will develop tomorrow afternoon.

Freezing levels: Freezing levels will begin to fall tonight reaching 4500’ by midnight. Freezing levels will slowly continue to fall, reaching 4000’ by Tuesday morning.

Winds: Breezy conditions will continue on the ridges today. Westerly flow will weaken this afternoon and begin to shift easterly tomorrow.
