General Discussion: Weak high pressure aloft will bring a brief lull in the snow activity tonight and tomorrow.
Long-term: Another organized front will bring more snow to the mountains tomorrow night and Saturday. The start of next week still appears to be dry.
TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: These snow showers will start to taper off tonight. Tomorrow will be relatively dry with a few lingering snow showers lurking around.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels will stay low through the night and then begin to rise tomorrow. 3500’ FL’s will be possible by tomorrow afternoon.
Winds: Surface flow will swing back and forth between E and W. Winds aloft will be mainly W.
