Well hopefully the sun will help release the snow from the trees today and make travel safer. Enjoy the sun today because tomorrow the snow returns.

Long-term: Light snow showers with periods of clearing will persist for the rest of the week. The weekend appears dry and sunny under building high pressure.

Trend and Timing:
The snow will arrive mid morning tomorrow and intensify through the afternoon. Snow will diminish to showers tomorrow night with light snow showers continuing Wednesday.

Cool air arriving from the NE will push freezing levels low on the east slope of the cascades. West of the summit temperatures will be a few degrees warmer.
