Mountain Weather Forecast -Time: 1000

Light mixed rain and snow will continue today. Temperatures will slowly descend through the night with snow ramping up tomorrow. It appears to be a good weekend of snow developing.

Long-range: Snow will fall through the weekend with some nice accumulation possible by Sunday morning. Snow totals by Sunday morning could exceed a foot of new snow. Snow showers are expected to continue through the first part of the new week.

Trend and Timing:
Rain in the base transiting to snow on the upper ridges will continue today. Snow should fall at all elevations by early tomorrow morning. Snow will intensify tomorrow night and Sunday.
