MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

The Snapshot: Light rain showers will continue today and tomorrow. 


The Science:   A weak cold front will move through the region today. High pressure to the south coupled with the passing of the cold front will cause periods of partly cloudy skies with intermittent rain or snow showers through most of the week.


4-7day Long Range: The long range models differ significantly in their predictions for the weekend.  So confidence is low.  As of now, freezing levels fall below 4000’ by Friday with snow possible through the weekend.
