MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

The Snapshot:  Dry and partially clear weather will continue today.  Sunnier tomorrow with cold temperatures.


The Science:  A weak low pressure sliding down the coastal waters is creating this morning cloud cover.   As the low travels south the pressure gradients will rise allowing more clearing.  Thus, more sun and stars and cold temperatures for the remainder of the week.  


4-7day Long Range:  No storms on the horizon until perhaps the middle of next week.

Trends and Timing:
 
Other than a flake or two produced by this thin but dense cloud cover, no precipitation is expected for the next 2-4 days.

Cold temperatures will continue through the week.  If skies entirely clear by the morning, temperatures could dip below 0.  Sunshine should help surface temperatures climb into the mid to high teens or perhaps 20f.
