The Snapshot: Quite the storm eh? Just a bunch of snow and wind on the way. Winds will continue to be a nuisance with
strong westerly flow through early Monday morning.
The Science: The expected cold front moved east of the Cascade
Crest around 7am this morning. Strong
onshore flow will entrain a continuous stream of moisture for the next 24-36hrs. Another warm front will bring more precipitation
and slightly warmer temperatures tomorrow night with mixed rain and snow possible
in the base area..
4-7day Long Range: This storm cycle begins to lose its energy on Monday. Mixed rain and snow showers will persist into
early Tuesday morning. High pressure
brings warm and dry weather to the PNW to finish out the week.
