The Snapshot:  Continued dry with high cirrus clouds forming.  

 
The Science: This stable warm air mass parked over the PNW will continue to produce dry and warm weather in the Cascade Mountains through the weekend.  The inversion layer will continue to be around the 3500’ level through tomorrow.  A weak frontal system clips the coast on Sunday increasing the cloud cover over the interior. 

 
4-7day Long Range: The blocking ridge of high pressure is expected to continue through most of next week.
