The Snapshot:  Dry with high clouds developing today.


The Science:  A weakening surface low pressure system will shake things up a bit tonight.  Hopefully this will weaken the inversion layer for a bit more sunshine tomorrow.  High pressure quickly rebuilds tomorrow and will continue to dominate the weather pattern through the weekend.  


4-7day Long Range: Dry with the persistent inversion layer (+-2500’) expected through the weekend.  Some long range models show some potential change by the middle of next week.

Trends and Timing
Cool morning temperatures will continue at Pass levels with warmer air aloft.  Cooler air from the north will allow freezing levels to slowly decline during the next few days.

Trend and Timing:
Easterly flow will weaken today and shift NW and then back to E during the next 24-48hrs.
