The Snapshot: More mixed rain and snow today. Falling temperatures, wind and measurable
snow will greet us in the morning.
The Science: Several
storms being aimed at the PNW by a strong jet stream will bring the full gambit
of weather (snow, rain, wind) to the PNW through the weekend. The first organized cold front arrives
tonight with snow. The general flow
turns southerly on Thursday with freezing rising above 5000’ on Friday.
4-7day Long Range: The moisture
series will continue through the weekend with heavy rain possible Friday night
changing to snow on Saturday.

Snow will intensify
tonight as convergence conditions develop.
Snow briefly stops tomorrow afternoon with the next wave of moisture
