MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST


Time and Day: 1000 Saturday

The Snapshot: Snow showers will persist in the mountains through the weekend.

The Science:  Snow showers will continue to develop along the Cascade Crest as the low pressure system slowly slides south.  Next week will be cold and dry as very cold air mass flows in from the north.  Expect temperatures below zero by the middle of next week.

4-7day Long Range:   The cold and dry weather pattern is expected to continue through most of next week.

Water by 4am = .10  Snow = 1-2
24hr total inches of water ending at noon tomorrow = lt.25
24hr total inches of snow ending at noon tomorrow =1-3
 
Trend and Timing:
It will be possible to squeeze a few inches of snow out of the passing showers during the next few days.  Monday will be dry.
