MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

The Snapshot: The sun on the mountains sure helps the -3f temps feel better.  Clear and cold weather will continue through tomorrow.


The Science:  The cold dry air mass is expected to stick around until Friday.  A low pressure system tracking up from the south will bring warming to the region on Friday.  An active weather pattern will also begin on Friday.  

 
4-7day Long Range: The long range models significantly differ on the weather potential for the weekend.   It will be more active with precipitation likely,  but the details are unknown at this point.   Stay tuned.
