MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

The Snapshot: Another beautiful sunny day for the Stevens Pass.  This early spring like weather will continue for the next few days.  Mixed rain and snow expected on Friday.

 
The Science:  High pressure over the PNW will provide another sunny day and chilly night.   Today will be a few degrees warmer as warm southerly air streams up the coast.  Clouds will begin to roll in tomorrow as the general flow pattern turns westerly tonight.   A warm front followed by a cold front will move through the region on Friday.  Rain turning to snow will be likely on Friday.  

 
4-7day Long Range: The high pressure ridge rebounds north on Saturday for a dry, partly sunny and warm weekend.
