MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

Time and Day: 1030  Sunday

The Snapshot: Intermittent snow showers will persist through early tomorrow morning.   Partial clearing with the threat of snow showers will continue for the first half of the week.  

The Science:  Cool NW flow aloft will keep the atmosphere just unstable enough to keep snow showers in the mix through Wednesday morning.   

Long Range:   A frontal system enters the scene Thursday for the start of an another potential snowy weekend.

Today’s 24hr Water = .5+   Snow = 6-8   

Tomorrow’s 24hr Water = .10    Snow = 0-2

Trend and Timing:
Snow showers will continue through early tomorrow morning.

Low: 20  High: 28
Freezing level: 3000’  -  1000.'

Trends and Timing:
Freezing levels will begin to fall tonight and remain low through Tuesday.

Trend and Timing:
Westerly flow will shift northerly through the night.
