The Snapshot: Snow this morning changing to showers later
today. Snow continues Tuesday and Wednesday,
dry Christmas day.
The Science: A warm front followed by a
cold front will bring a short shot of moderate snow this morning and then taper
to intermittent showers in the wake of the cold front this afternoon. A low-pressure
system expected to track along the Washington-Oregon
border tomorrow will spin bands of snow north through early Tuesday morning.
Long
Range: The snow continues
into Wednesday. The holiday will be
partly clear and mostly dry as a high-pressure
ridge passes over the State. Another storm is taking shape to impact the
region next weekend.
