MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

Time and Day:  10:30 am Wednesday

The Snapshot:  Steady snow will continue through tomorrow morning.   Intermittent snow shower can be expected to linger into Christmas day.  

The Science:  A low-pressure system slowly drifting east will keep the snow pumping through tomorrow morning.  The atmosphere will remain unstable under cool NW flow into Christmas Day, keeping snow showers with clear periods possible.  

Long Range:  The overall pattern begins to change on Friday as a high-pressure ridge builds along the PNW coast.  The weekend will be dry and partly clear.

Tomorrow’s 24hr Water = .25- .5  Snow = 3-5

Trend and Timing:
Snow will begin to diminish after 7 am tomorrow morning.
