The Snapshot: 2” of fresh snow fell overnight. Intermittent snow showers and warming temperatures
will continue for the first half of the week. There
will be a short dry spell Wednesday/Thursday with snow expected for the
weekend.
The Science: A low-pressure
system churning up the coastal waters will spin light bands of moisture into
the mountains throughout most of the week.
Warmer air will also be pulled from the south pushing freezing levels to
near 4000’ by Wednesday morning.
Long
Range: A slightly stronger storm
arrives on Friday for some potential fresh snow going into the weekend.
