MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

The Snapshot:  Partly cloudy today with snow tomorrow and Thursday.

The Science:   Today will be mostly dry under weakening high pressure.  Clouds thicken tonight as a progressive system prepares to track through the PNW tomorrow. This system will likely be a nice snow producer for Stevens Pass.  Snow diminishes Thursday as another weak high-pressure ridge builds.

The Long Range:  Things get interesting on Friday as a strong warm front with an SW fetch of moisture begins to form.  Moderate rain/snow mix could be setting up for Saturday.  The weekend it is still a bit far out, so stay tuned as the long range details get more dependable.
