MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

Time and Day: 1030 Thursday

The Snapshot:  Clear periods with light passing snow showers will end the week with snow through the weekend.

The Science:   Southwesterly flow will continue to drive bands of moisture through the PNW for the next several days.  Weak upper-level ridging will provide some clear periods.  Freezing’s levels appear to be in favor for the precipitation to be mostly in the form of snow.  

The Long Range: The next best chance for measurable snow will be Sunday afternoon into Monday morning.   This active weather pattern will last through at least Tuesday with dry and warmer weather taking shape by the end of the week.

Today 24hr water = lt .25 Snow = Trace

Tomorrow’s 24hr water = .25   snow = 0- 2

Trend and Timing:
Light snow showers with clear periods through early Saturday morning.

Trend and Timing:   
Freezing levels will hover around 4000’ with good daytime heating and early morning cooling.

Trend and Timing:
Winds will slowly diminish through the day and shift back to easterly tomorrow.
