Time and Day: 0630 Saturday
The Snapshot:
Snow showers will continue in the mountains today with cooling
temperatures. Moderate to heavy snow
tomorrow night into Monday morning.
The Science: A cold front passing this morning will produce
snow showers and cooler temperatures for the mountains today and most of
tomorrow. A low-pressure system tracking up the coast will bring moderate to
heavy snow tomorrow night into Monday morning.
Good western flow will follow with convergence showers persisting into
Tuesday. Sounds like a few powder days taking shape.
The Long Range: Snow will continue through at least
Tuesday. High pressure begins to build on Wednesday for warmer and drier weather expected to end the week.
