MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

Time and Day: 0800 Wednesday

The Snapshot: Mostly dry with clearing later today.  Dry weather with warm days and cool mornings will finish out the week.  Watch for some gusty easterly winds tomorrow.

The Science:  This morning’s radar has a few scattered showers showing up along the Cascade Crest.  Those showers will dry up as the high-pressure cell building along the California/Oregon coast lifts north.   Pass level clouds and morning fog will dissipate as the sun makes its daily trek. 

The Long Range:  Other than a weak system trying to bust through the wall of high pressure on Saturday, dry with seasonally average temperatures will prevail through the weekend.

Tomorrow’s 24hr water = 0  snow = 0

Trend and Timing:
Some very light snow showers are possible this morning with drying through the day.

Diurnal temperatures swings (melt/freeze) will be the pattern for the next few days.  Temperatures will climb a few degrees each day.
