MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

Time and Day: 0700 Thursday

The Snapshot:  Dry, sunny and a bit breezy today and tomorrow.  The weekend will start out dry and cloudy with mixed rain and snow expected on Sunday.

The Science:  High pressure over the PNW will produce mostly clear conditions today.  East-west pressure gradients tighten today which will likely produce gusty east/offshore winds through tomorrow.  High clouds will begin to move in tomorrow as a weak system approaches the coast on Saturday.  

The Long Range:  Temperatures could climb to 500f on Saturday with cloudy conditions.  Another round of mixed rain and snow arrives on Sunday and will continue into the new week.
