The Snapshot: Light mixed snow and rain today and
tomorrow.
The Science: A low-pressure trough approaching the PNW today
will bring cool SW flow with mixed rain and snow showers today and tomorrow. Most
of the moisture will be confined to the
western slopes of the Cascades with light showers east of the crest. Cool air aloft will bring freezing levels
down to around 4500’ with a general cooling trend as the week progresses.
The Long Range: This typical early spring
weather pattern of spotty mixed rain and snow showers and periods of broken
clouds will continue through the week.
