Time and Day: 0730 Saturday
The Snapshot: High clouds, warm and dry today, mixed rain and snow
developing tonight changing to snow tomorrow.
A good dose of Spring arrives next
week.
The Science: The high cloud deck this morning will clear for some
nice sunshine later today. A cold front
with NW flow in tow will move in late
tonight for another round of snow showers for Stevens Pass. The precipitation will likely start out as
light rain tonight as it mixes with the lingering warm air mass. Temperatures will fall in the wake of the
front with cool westerly flow providing snow showers for most of the day
tomorrow. Gusty ridge top winds will
also accompany the front tomorrow morning,
but they should be fairly short lived.
The Long Range: Snow showers will linger into Monday with a drying trend beginning
Monday afternoon. A strong high-pressure system will bring warm, dry and
clear weather to the PNW starting on Tuesday and will likely last through the upcoming weekend.

Tomorrow’s 24hr water = .5-.75 snow = 6-8
