MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

The Snapshot:  Scattered snow showers this morning with dry, sunny and warmer weather developing tomorrow.

The Science: This morning’s satellite imagery has some light snow showers popping up in the mountains with clear skies to the west.  Skies will begin to clear this afternoon as high-pressure building over region starts to take effect. 

The Long Range:  High pressure will strengthen as the week progresses with dry, warm, and clear weather expected for the next 5-7 days.

Trend and Timing:
Snow showers will taper off this morning.  Dry for the rest of the week.

Freezing levels will begin to rise today and will remain well above Pass level for the week.  Good early morning cooling will occur with temperatures dropping just below freezing for the next few days.
