The Science: The atmosphere over the most of the state has stabilized
under a rising barometer. Satellite imagery
shows clear skies over the entire state.
Early morning temperatures have
dropped below freezing this morning but will quickly climb into the upper 40’s
as the sun begins to take effect. The
air mass will warm even further tomorrow with early morning temperatures
struggling to drop below freezing.
The Long Range: Clear and warm weather will persist for the
rest of the week. Long-range models have
the high pressure breaking down and drifting east on Saturday. This may
allow some rain to enter the scene over the weekend.
