MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

The Snapshot:  Dry and warm today with increasing high clouds.  Clear and warmer tomorrow, rain returns late next week.

The Science:  A warm front brushing the NW corner of the state today will allow high clouds to drift over the mountains.  High pressure building over the interior West will strengthen today pushing surface temperatures into the 50’s and maybe even 60 tomorrow. 

The Long Range:  Dry, warm and mostly clear weather will persist through at least Tuesday.  A cooler push of moisture is expected to enter the coastal waters on Wednesday night/ Thursday.
