MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

Time and Day: 0730 Saturday

The Snapshot:  Continued dry with temperatures peaking into the 50’s again today and tomorrow.  Snow to start the new week???? 

The Science:  High-pressure will continue to produce this nice spring weather through tomorrow.  High cirrus clouds will begin to form today in response to the approaching frontal system expected to impact the PNW early Monday morning.   A cold front will bring mixed rain and snow changing to snow starting early Monday morning.  Good westerly flow with freezing levels dropping to or just below 4000’ will bring some measurable snow Monday and Tuesday. 

The Long Range:  High pressure rebounds on Wednesday for a return to dry, warm and sunny weather.
