MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

Time and Day: 0630 Wednesday

The Snapshot:  Increasing clouds and breezy today with a chance of some light snow tonight.   Clear and cold conditions take shape tomorrow and will continue into the coming weekend.

The Science:  Tye Mill temps are reading 50 f, increasing easterly winds will have wind chill temps well below zero today.  Brrrrisk.

A thick layer of cirrus clouds will push in from the south today as a system tracking along southern border makes its way east.  The main bulk of moisture will remain south of Stevens, but there is a chance of some light snow late tonight or early tomorrow morning.  Clouds quickly clear out tomorrow with mostly dry and clear weather rounding out the week.

The Long Range:   High pressure strengthening off the PNW coast will keep Stevens Pass mostly dry and cold through most of the weekend.   The next chance of snow will be early next week.
