Time and Day: 1030
Sunday
The Snapshot: POWDER DAY!
The snow will continue to fall for the next few days.
The Science: The low-pressure
trough that brought us the nice snow today will slowly track east during the
next 24hrs. A nice fetch of moisture has
been entrained which result in consistent snow fall. Westerly flow will keep the snow machine cranking
into Tuesday with good Convergence Zone orographics likely.
The Long Range: Another strong frontal system will lift north
late Wednesday night with heavy precipitation and 4-5000’ freezing levels
setting up for Thursday and Friday.
