Mid-Day Weather Update
Time: 1200 Monday
Current Observations:
It is lightly snowing with
some thinning of mid-level cloud deck, the
temperatures profile is 34 base / 29
ridges. The 5000’ winds are still
gusting 15-25mph while the 4000’ winds remain
fairly calm.
Changes to morning forecast: The
radar has the Puget Sound Convergence Zone to the south and west of Stevens
Pass and fairly weak. Therefore, snow accumulation amounts may
be downgraded due to mild temperatures and the weak convergence zone. The upper level winds should begin to subside through the afternoon.
