The Science: We never got the forecasted high winds today, fortunately. But we are currently located in a sector of warm air following this morning’s frontal passage. This warm, dry airmass will sit over the North Central Cascades during most of the day Friday until a splitting(weakening) cold front moves inland, bringing with it a colder airmass. We should pick up a few inches of snow with the frontal passage. High pressure builds behind the front for Saturday.
