The Forecast: Snow today with temperatures in the mid

can expect snow changing to mixed rain early Saturday morning with the moisture

The Science:
A cold front with cool NW flow in tow
will swing through the regions today.
There is a warm, moist airmass out ahead of the front which is today’s
source of the snow and slightly warmer temperatures. Once the front passes later today,
temperatures will fall, the flow turns WNW.
Hopefully we will get some nice orographic snowfall before it
quickly ends early tomorrow morning.
A weak high pressure ridge
moves through tomorrow with a strong warm front preparing to impact the PNW on Friday/Saturday. Currently, models have freezing levels
peaking above 5000’ on Saturday with moderate to heavy rain possible.
