Sky:
broken clouds to the west with clear conditions developing over the eastern

The Forecast: Light passing snow showers this morning with
dry conditions tonight. Snow changing
to mixed rain arrives tomorrow afternoon with rain changing back to snow
sometime Saturday.
Long
Range: Things begin to dry out on Sunday as high pressure builds over the
region.
The Science:
A weak high pressure ridge passing through the region today will produce a peaceful
day with light NW winds. Temperatures
will hold steady in the mid to lower 20’s.
A good sliding day.
A likely scenario for tomorrow’s
triple point storm will be snow beginning tomorrow afternoon, changing to rain
early Saturday morning, and then back to snow by Saturday afternoon. Freezing levels will bump up to 5500’ early
Saturday morning and then fall back through the day. High pressure building over the PNW waters
will bring and end to the action on Sunday/Monday.
Timing and intensity for all this is still very much
in question so confidence is low at the moment.

4am tomorrow.
