The Forecast: Dry and partly sunny Monday, with a few snowflakes possible. General clearing trend. Snow starts Tuesday morning, becoming moderate to heavy during the day and continuing Tuesday night and Wednesday with warming temperatures.

Long Range:  Strong high pressure builds into the PNW for the second half of the week with rising freezing levels and dry days expected.
  
The Science: A weak system riding over the top of the ridge in NW flow will arrive Tuesday morning, then a stronger warm front arrives Tuesday night. Another round of moderate to heavy precip with freezing levels at Pass level or a little higher is expected Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
