Stevens Pass Mountain Weather Forecast

Storm update: The approaching front is creeping its way into the South Puget Sound region and tracking ENE.  Fresh models have the front moving east of the mountains after 4pm today.  

The precipitation values by 4am:
          +.75swe, 5-8”+ snow – Confidence is fair due to the uncertainty of the convergence aim and duration.  

Freezing levels hit 4-4500’ sometime after midnight and remain at that elevation through the day.

Winds shift westerly after midnight and strengthen.  Ridge top winds will be gusty +-20mph in the morning but should diminish and shift back to easterly in the afternoon.

Radar: light snow falling in the mountains with a band of moisture making landfall to the SW.
