Current Observations:

Pass level winds: Light westerly
Barometer:  clicked up to 1001 mb’s
Sky: OC  
Radar: light low density snow falling in the South west portion of the State.  

The Forecast:  Light snow showers this morning with snow ramping back up this afternoon.  More snow overnight and tomorrow.

Long Range: Wednesday and Thursday will be dry and warmer with more light snow expected on Friday
  
The Science: A warm front embedding in the stationary lower pressure trough will bring more snow and warmer temperatures to the PNW tonight.   The atmosphere will remain unstable through tomorrow. 

Forecast confidence:  Confidence is good. Note: the SWE amounts have been pretty accurate during these recent events, but snow total models have not.

Freezing levels rise just a bit today but remain well below Pass level through the week.

Ridge Top: 5-10 E/W

Trend and Timing:
Winds will shift from east to west and then back as these weak fronts move through.  Winds should be generally light.
