portion of the state getting the Convergence Zone goods. Mt Rainer’s Paradise received 20”.

Radar: light snow showers along the western slopes with a bit more activity
down around Mt Rainier.
The Forecast: Light snow showers with falling temperatures
can be expected today. Dry tomorrow with
another developing snow event shaping up for Friday.
Long
Range: Another 6-8” of snow will be possible Friday leading
into Saturday. Sunday and Monday will be
dry and with clear periods.
The Science: The
low pressure trough that brought us this nice dose of snow will slowly drift
south through the region today. As it
exits, dry northerly flow aloft will filter in.
Another similar NW flow
disturbance will track through on Friday with a repeat of lasts night
performance.
