Delayed this morning due to avalanche control.

The Forecast: Increasing clouds and light snow developing Saturday afternoon/evening. Precip tapering off and becoming mostly dry and cloudy on Sunday.

  
The Science: A weakening low pressure system will arrive in NW flow Saturday afternoon. This will spin bands of moisture through the Cascades at continuing low snow levels. North/northwest upper level flow will bring continued light snow showers Sunday.

Long Range:  Monday and Tuesday should be mostly dry. The remainder of the week will bring cool temps, partly cloudy skies, and light amounts of snow.
