The Science: Radar and satellite show clearing skies this morning, with a high pressure ridge building over the coast. This feature will advance over the region on Wednesday and Thursday, with cold air in place and Fraser River outflow continuing to dump more cold air into the PNW.

Long Range:  Beginning Thursday night another low pressure system approaches from the north, with a similar setup to last Sunday night’s event. Another low land snow event looks possible for Friday/Saturday, with light to moderate accumulations in the mountains.
