The Science:
The main energy of the approaching frontal system is tracking into Northern
California/Oregon. The attached occluded
front stretching into the PNW waters, will swing inland tonight with a little
moisture for the mountains. Cool air
will fill in behind the front dropping freezing levels to +- 4000’ by early tomorrow
morning. Seasonal warming will allow
daytime temperatures to recover into the mid to upper 30’s.
A weak high pressure
ridge, between systems, will provide a partly sunny day on Sunday with a warm
front lifting up from the south on Monday.
