Radar: dry inland with some moisture popping up off the NW coast.

The Forecast: Brrr…. Cold and dry with gusty winds today and tomorrow. 

Long Range: Warmer with a chance of snow is taking shape for Wednesday/Thursday.  We can look forward to light passing snow showers and temperature rising to seasonal norms for the upcoming weekend.  

  
The Science: A low pressure cell, centered over northwestern Oregon, is drawing cold, dry air into the Cascades today.  A temperature inversion may form today with a low level cloud deck forming in the eastern basin. 

This should be the coldest day of the week with warmer air and some moisture expected to arrive on Wednesday/Thursday.  The mid-week system is not packing a ton of moisture but hopefully we will squeeze a few inches of snow out of it.
