Radar:  Lights snow falling along the western slopes with eastern Washington being mostly dry.   

The Forecast: Intermittent snow showers will continue today with snow tapering off tomorrow.

Long Range:  Sunshine with temperatures in the mid to upper 20’s can be expected for the weekend.   Snow on Monday???   
  
The Science: The atmosphere will remain unstable under NW flow aloft for the next 24hrs.  Periods of moderate snow will be possible tonight as a short-lived convergence zone forms.  The snow tapers off through tomorrow as a high pressure ridge slides into place.

After a nice sunny weekend, a moist warm front will approach the region with some potential measurable snow possible on Monday/Tuesday.  Details are still in question so stay tuned.

Forecast confidence: Fair - the convergence zone intensity and timing is always hard to pin down.
